Meadowfoam Oil
Meadowfoam is composed of mostly fatty acids and antioxidants that help to replenish lost moisture. It is considered suitable for all skin types because it is so similar to the oils produced by humans. The main difference is that meadowfoam has a higher concentration of fatty acids while sebum contains more wax esters. It acts as an emollient that seals in moisture, keeping the skin supple and soft. Meadowfoam applies lightly to the skin and absorbs easily without leaving behind an oily residue.
